Plan Your Visit!

WELCOME!

Electric City Fellowship has something for everyone! We welcome everyone from all walks of life into our community, and would love to meet you. We know that visiting a church for the first time can sometimes be an overwhelming experience, but having an idea of what to expect can certainly help. To learn more about what to expect at Electric City Fellowship, check out our Purposes, Core Values, and What We Believe and keep reading!

WHEN SHOULD I SHOW UP?

The "Get Wired" cafe opens Sundays at 9:30 am for fellowship alongside coffee and fresh Krispy Kreme donuts! Also, the worship service starts at 10:00 am, and offers programs for infants called Little Lights, and children called Power-House, all the way through 5th grade.

So that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the service so that you have time to settle in, especially if you have children.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our services are for you, so come dressed however you feel most comfortable. We’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Dressed up or dressed down, we have a variety of styles at our services.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

We are committed to a compelling and challenging presentation of God’s truth. Our format is accessible to anyone, no matter where they are on their life’s journey. This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts.

We have live, upbeat worship with a full band, as well as intimate songs of worship, and a congregational time of prayer.

WHAT WILL THE MESSAGE BE LIKE?

Every week, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on Scripture that will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong Biblical foundation.  Some messages will be taught verse-by-verse and others will be topical.  We like to mix in a lot of Bible, some personal stories, life application, and humor.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE AN OFFERING?

Each week, we encourage our members to bring their tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give.  Giving and tithing is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives, to give back a portion of what God has given them, and gives Electric City Fellowship the means to reach more people for Christ in the future. (Learn more on our Give page in our full site)

DO YOU HAVE COMMUNION?

We celebrate communion together during designated Sunday services several times a year.   Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer as long as they’ve previously made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread we share represent the blood that Jesus shed and His body that was broken on the cross so our sins could be forgiven.

ARE THERE KIDS PROGRAMS AVAILABLE?

Electric City Fellowship offers interactive, age-appropriate classes for your kids to enjoy while you are attending services in the main area.  Our kids ministries are called Little Lights, and Power House.  From infant to 5th grade, we have a program that builds your child’s relationship with Jesus Christ and the Electric City Fellowship community!  Learn more about our children's ministry on our Children's page in out full site.
